Answer:

(-1, 4) and (2, 7)

Explanation:

  • Graphs f(x) & g (x) are intersecting each other.

  • -> f(x) = g(x)

  • \implies x^2+3 =x + 5

  • \implies x^2+3 -x -5=0

  • \implies x^2 -x -2=0

  • \implies x^2 -2x +x-2=0

  • \implies x(x -2) +1(x-2)=0

  • \implies (x -2)(x+1)=0

  • \implies (x -2)=0,\:\: (x+1)=0

  • \implies x=2\:\: x=-1

  • \implies x=-1,\:\:2

  • When x = -1

  • f(x) = (-1)^2+3 = 1 +3 = 4

  • -> (x, f(x)) = (-1, 4)

  • & When x = 2

  • f(x) = (2)^2+3 = 4 +3 = 7

  • -> (x, f(x)) = (2, 7)

  • Thus, the points of intersection of the functions f(x) and g(x) are (-1, 4) and (2, 7)
