ANSWER: 17

The distance horizontally is 15 units because 7-(-8) = 15

The distance vertically is 8 units because 8-0 = 0

Pythagorean theorem
a2 + b2 = c2
(225) + (64) = (289)

Square root 289 = 17 is the distance
