$2\cdot \left(4x-3\right)-8=4+2x\\2\cdot 4x+2\cdot -3-8=4+2x\\8x-6-8=4+2x\\8x-14=4+2x$

$8x-14=4+2x\\8x-14-2x=4+2~x-2x\\8x-2x-14=4+2x-2x\\6x-14=4+2x-2x\\6x-14=2x-2x+4\\6x-14=4$

$6x-14=4\\6x-14+14=4+14\\6x=4+14\\6x=18$

$6x=18\\(6x)/(6)=(18)/(6)\\x=(18)/(6)\\\\$

$x=(3\cdot 6)/(1\cdot 6)\\\\Factor\\x=3$
