To find x-intercept just need to put 0((zero)) instead of y in the equation.

Thus :

- 6x + 3(0) = 18.9

- 6x + 0 = 18.9

- 6x = 18.9

Divided sides by -6

( - 6)/( - 6)x = (18.9)/( - 6) \\

x = - 3.15

This is the x-intercept.

To find y-intercept just need to put 0((zero)) instead of x in the equation.

Thus :

- 6(0) + 3y = 18.9

0 + 3y = 18.9

3y = 18.9

Divided sides by 3

(3)/(3)y = (18.9)/(3) \\

y = 6.3

This is the y-intercept.
