Determine the equation of the perpendicular bisector of AB and state the coordinates of the point where the perpendicular bisector meets or intersects with the y-axis.

Midpoint : [5,1]

Coordinates for A: [3,5] , B: [7,1]

the equation will be in the form of:

y = -x + b

To find be take any point on the line. Hence we have (5,1) which is the midpoint where the line meets.

Therefore, substitute (5,1) in the above equation:

1 = -5 + b

b = 6

So the question of the line will be:

y = -x + 6
