You first point the b, in y=mx+b. The x point for the b would always be a 0 while the y is whatever the b is. Then up two, over 5. If it’s a whole number like 5x, it’d be up five, over 1. The numerator of a fraction for the slope will always be upwards or downwards while the denominator would be left and right.
