Explanation:

profit is always income minus basic costs.

assuming that the stadium is always sold out (there are always 45,000 tickets sold for every game), we get the function p(x) as profit for x games

p(x) = 45000×50x - 1700000x =

= 2250000x - 1700000x = 550,000x

so, for x = 1 (1 game played)

p(1) = 550,000×1 = $550,000

they make a profit of $550,000 for every game they play.
