How would an inscribed dodecagon compare to the area of a circle?

Explanation:

I believe it is underestimate because the dodecagon is inside the circle, therefore smaller than the circle. It wont fill the circle completely so that is why i think it is underestimate. I hope this helps, if not I am really deeply sorry!!!!!
