decimal:x<0.625

interval notation:-∞,5/8

Explanation:

add/subtract the numbers : 5-4=1

expand 1-5(7x+5):35x-24

add 24 to both sides

35-24+24<-5x+1+24

simplify

35x<-5x+25

add 5x to both sides

35x+5x <-5x+25x+5x

simplify

40x/40 <25/40

simplify

x<5/8
