The slope of the x = - 7 equals infinite...

We know that the slopes of the perpendicular lines are inverse and symmetrical to each other ;

So ;

(slope) * \infty = - 1

slope = - (1)/( \infty ) \\

slope = 0

This the slope of the line.....

We have following equation to find the line :

y - y(through \: point) = (slope) * ( \: x - x(t \:p) \: ) \\

Now just need to put the coordinates and the slope ;

Look :

y - ( - 8) = 0 * (x - ( - 3))

y + 8 = 0

y = - 8

And we're done....

Thanks for watching buddy good luck.
