Pill bugs curl up when they sense danger.

This is the only one which would protect the animal because if we look at the others...

a chimpanzee can not be protected from speaking sign language. A squirrel will not survive if it is inactive in the cold because it's body needs all the movement it can do, to keep warm. A dog can not be protected from listening to it's owner.
