The simplified form of the distributive property, will be: x² + 13x + 36

Distributive Property

Distributive property is a binary sentence, being composed of some mathematical operations. The mathematical operations that may be involved in the distributive property are: multiplication, addition, subtraction and others.

To solve a distributive, it is enough to multiply all the members that are outside the parentheses, for the terms that are inside. Then we're going to rearrange the sentence, thus multiplying and summing the terms.

( x + 4 ) ( x + 9 )

x · x + 9x + 4x + 4 · 9

x² + 9x + 4x + 4 · 9

x² + 9x + 4x + 36

x² + 13x + 36

Therefore, the simplified form of this sentence is x² + 13x + 36
