Writting:Even though Carroll's intention was to be humorous, some poems were confusing. They were downright crazy. Alice's attempts to understand the poems did help to explain them. But I'm not sure I would have made Alice recite nursery rhymes if I was Carroll. Plus, Humpty was incredibly unhelpful! His help to Alice only further proves that the Looking-Glass world was backward.
