LCD - Lowest Common Denominator

2/4 + 5/6

Goal - (try to get both denominators on both fractions to be the same)

2/4 + 2/6

4•3=12 6•2=12 (denominators)

then multiply each numerator by the number the denominator was multiplied by

2•3=6 2•2=4

6/12 + 4/12 = 10/12
