so Cost.Price *120/100=9000

Cost price= 7500

now its asking for discount percentage at 3% profit so first calculate price after 3% profit

7500*103/100= 7725

so discount on rs11250 required to produce 3% profit=

11250*x/100=7725

x= 68.7% discount
