I think it’s C bc first of all A is out of the table; A is the cause and effect. B is a argument or counter claim, and D is like another argument about facts. C tells us that it’s talking about how something is correctly defined and in the question it asks us about “the claim of value” which also means the word/ definition has a value in English.
