What is the value of x in the equation 2x – 3 = 9- 4x?

1 is your answer. subtract 2 from -4 which is -6. since you have to do the same to both sides then 2-2=0. now your equation is -3=9-6x. -3+9=6. 6=6x is 1

6x - 3 = 9 (added 4x to both sides)

6x = 12 (added 3 to both sides)
