Mrs. Patterson purchased 5 trays of flowers. The total cost was $54.75. Each tray contained 2 dozen individual plants. After planting all of the flowers, Mrs. Patterson decided she needed an additional 18 plants. If the plants are priced individually, about how much should she expect to pay for the additional flowers?

Answer:

For the aditional 18 flowers, it costs 39.45$ total

Explanation:

I started by multiplying 5 times 24

5 for the treys she bought

24 for each flower that was in the trey

I got 120 now divide that by the total of 54.75

now you have the cost of the each indivitual flower which is $2.19 now you time that by 18 each flower thats how I got $39.45
