Explanation:

The total base area = base x length = 4 x 11 = 44 (1)

The area of each triangular surface = /2 x base x height = 1/2 * 4 * 3.5 = 7 and the areas of both triangular surfaces = 2 x 7 = 14 (2)

The surface area of each of the lateral surfaces = side of triangle x length = 4 x 11 = 44

The area of both lateral surfaces = 2 x 44 = 88 (3)

Adding up (1), (2) and (3) gives us 146 m² as the total surface area
