Decimal for 1/8: 0.125

This decimal number is called a terminating decimal because it goes on and on.

Hope this helps you!

Answer:

.125

Explanation:

1/2= .50

1/4=.25

1/8=.125

a terminating decimal has a finite number of decimals

for example pi=3.1415926535897932384 and it goes on forever

.125 does not. it has an end.
