I’m sorry, but if you guys have a moment, could you explain what my teacher means by “four Martele strokes” Again, I’m really sorry, but I just need a quick explanation. Thank you :) (octave scale btw for violin)

Answer: So a “Martele stroke” is when you you apply pressure to your bow (at the start) in a strong jolting way to the end of the bow have like a moment silence at the end, also what she means by “four” is having “four hammer strikes”

Fun fact: martelé means ‘Hammered’
