Mark is downloading a video at a rate of 6 megabytes per second(Mbps). He had downloaded 87 megabytes when he had to pause the download. After resuming, he continues to download for another two minutes. Which of the following represents the total number of megabytes Mark downloaded.

Explanation:

Megabytes downloaded in 1 second = 6

no. of minutes for which download was resumed = 2 minutes

1 minute = 60 seconds

2 minutes = 2*60 seconds = 120 seconds

Now we have to find no of megabytes downloaded in these 120 seconds

Megabytes downloaded in 1 second = 6

multiplying both sides by 120

Megabytes downloaded in 1*120 second = 6 * 120 = 720

Thus, 120 Megabytes was downloaded in 2 minutes after pause was resumed.

Megabytes downloaded before pause = 87

Total no of megabytes mark downloaded = Megabytes downloaded before pause + Megabytes downloaded in 2 minutes after pause was resumed

Total no of megabytes mark downloaded = 87 + 720 = 807 megabytes

Thus, total megabytes downloaded was 807.
