Explain the ways in which European imperialism was both a positive and negative force for the cultural, political and economic development throughout the world in the 20th century.

European imperialism brought many things. Positive being, civilizing the people of the conquering. A mixture of cultures can be viewed extensively in both such as México which mixes indigenous rituals along with Spanish traditions. It also brought economic and technological expansion to the colonies. On the downside, it brought disease to the new colonies and killed many of the indigenous peoples. There were also many dispositions and genocides such as the American Indian genocide. I hope this helps my friend.
