Hello! :)

4 (2x + 1) = 6x + 10 Simplify both sides of the equation

(4) (2x) + (4) (1) = 6x + 10 Distribute

8x + 4 = 6x + 10

8x + 4 − 6x = 6x + 10 − 6x subtract 6x from both sides

2x + 4 = 10

2x + 4 - 4 = 10 - 4 Subtract 4 from both sides

2x = 6

2x/2 = 6/2 Divide both sides by 2

6/2 = 3 Simplify

x = 3 (ANSWER)

Hope this helped you!
