Answer: y + 3x + 2 = 0

Explanation:

The formula for that is

y - y₁

------- = -3 where x₁ = -3, y₁ = 7

x - x₁

Therefore cross multiply and solve

y - 7 = -3[( x - (-3)]

y - 7 = -3( x + 3 )

y - 7 = -3x - 9

y + 3x -7 + 9 = 0

y + 3x + 2 = 0
