-3/8 divided by -1/3

Do the reciprocal of -1/3 and change the division sign to a multiplication sign.

-3/8 x -3/1

Multiply the numerators and denominators

-3 X -3 = 9
8 X 1 = 8

As an improper fraction, it is 9/8.
As a mixed number it s 1 1/8
