How do you think an ecosystem recovers after a disaster?

After a natural disaster the community will often go through ecosystems Will bounce back as natural disaster have occurred on earth for a long time hopes this helps :)

Ecological Succession. Small forms of vegetation will start to grow usually, like lichens which is a mix of moss and algae and it will break down enough rock to create a top soil for more vegetation to grow. This is a broad question, but a slow progression of more vegetation and wildlife will eventually find its way.
