Find the arc length and sectors perimeter of an 85 degree arc of a circle with a radius of 4ft

so, to find the measure of an src length we use the formula

angle / 360 * 2 pi r

so, if we plug it in, it is

85 / 360 * 2 pi 4


that equals 17 pi / 9 ft^2

that is the arc length.


to find the perimeter of the sector ( a sector is j the region w the arc) add the two radi as well as the newly found arc length

that should be 4 + 4 + 17 pi / 9



this equals roughly 13.9341 ft^2
