Georgia is one of the 50 states that constitutes the United States of America, a federal nation located in the North American continent which, in turn, belongs to the Northern Hemisphere.
The Earth is divided in two hemispheres by the fictious line called Equator (as the image attached shows). The Northern halve of the sphere is the Northern Hemisphere while the Southern halve is the Southern Hempishere.
