N5 bio- what is cellular respiration?

Cellular Respiration is the aerobic process of making energy in plant or animal cells. The reactants and products are listed here.
C6H12O6 + 6O2 → 6CO2 + 6H2O
Glucose + Oxygen → Carbon Dioxide + Water

The actual process is quite complex but here is a simplified version. Glucose is broken down in glycolysis to make 2 ATP. The sugar is then transported into the Krebs Cycle or Citric Acid Cycle In The mitochondrial matrix. This produce 38 ATP
