Distribute 4(6x+4) to 24x + 16. Then, distribute -5(3x-6) to -15x + 30. So now you have 24x + 16 - 15x + 30. Then you add 16 to 30 giving you 46 ( 24x + 46 - 15x). Next you add 24x to 15x giving you 9x. So your answer is 9x + 46.

4(6x+4)-5(3x-6) First you distribute 24x+16-15x+30 then you add like terms so 24x-15x is 9x. 16+30 is 46. So the answer is 9x+46
