Considering the ending of the short story "Was It a Dream?" what is the author saying about love? Do you think he is right or wrong? In one to two paragraphs, explain your answer.

When someone is truly in love with another person they tend to overlook there flaws no matter how noticeable or toxic the trait of flaw is. in this short story the main character seems to have lost his love, the character then goes on to show how perfect she was and how perfect everything about her is. unfortunately the character is found unconscious on her gravestone after having read the inscription on her gravestone initially exposing the fact that his love was cheating on him since the day he had gotten sick

What the author is trying to get across is that love can be blind, your view of someone/something may be distorted, because of the overwhelming feelings you get from this one person, I personally believe love is almost like a drug, once you make someone your “drug” you almost need them and feel connected to the person, once that person leaves its like you can't function or live without that person's affection, almost like you are addicted to them.
