How is the water in the swimming pool similar to earth's interior

my grandparents said because they are are both liquidy and they both have the same thickness.

The deeper you go in both Earth's interior and the swimming pool the greater the pressure grows. The difference is the swimming pool contains, mostly liquid and Earth's interior contains mostly solids. my grandpa said that and my grandma it was wrong so you see which one is right which is what the other kid said so i think my grandpa is right.
