You have learned a lot about the setting of the Klondike Gold Rush. You have learned enough to begin to craft your own story in this setting.

Use your journal to sketch out a story that you could set in the Klondike Gold Rush. Describe a possible main character, a theme that you want to explore, and three events that you could include to show that theme. Spend about five to ten minutes writing up your plan. You may choose to write your plan in paragraph form, or use a graphic organizer.

Answer:

The Klondike Gold rush was a massive migration of the Yukon, in north-western Canada, between 1896 and 1899. A possible main character in the gold rush could be a north-western Canadian. A theme that I would like to explore would be what caused the gold rush. One event that could have caused the gold rush is when Skookum Jim Mason, Dawson Charlie and George Washington Carmack found gold in a tributary of the Klondike River in Canada's Yukon Territory. Another event that could have cause it is a lack of gold or a discovery of it. Finally another event that could have caused the gold rush is when people discovered gold in a river in Klondike.

Explanation:Hope this helps.
