4/9 - 3/9 is 1/9
(If you multiply the top and bottom of a fraction by the same number, it’s the same fraction)
1/3 = 3/9

Answer:
Explanation:
Write it out:
Re-write 1/3, so it and 4/9s share a common denominator: 3 × 3 = 9, 1 × 3 = 3
Re-write 1/3: 3/9
Re-write the expression:
4/9 - 3/9 = 1/9
I hope this helps!
