If elephant grass grows 2 3/4 inches a day, how many inches will it grow in 6 days?

In 1 day, the grass grows 2 3/4 inches or 11/4 inches.
In 6 days, the grass grows (11/4 X 6) inches
= 33/2
= 16 1/2
= 16.5 inches
Ans: The elephant grass grows 16.5 inches in 6 days.

16.5 or 16 1/2 all you do is multiply the 2 numbers.
