Explanation:

Hey there!

Here,

The equation is:

7 √(3 \: ) {x}^(2) + 10x - √(3 ) = 0

Comparing the equation with ax^2+bx+c=0. We get;

a = 7 √(3)

b = 10

c = √(3)

Now,

Discriminant= ?

We have,

discriminant = {b}^(2) - 4ac

Put all values.

discriminant = {10}^(2) - 4 * 7 √(3) * √(3)

discriminant = 100 - 4 *7 * 3

discriminant = 100 - 84

Therefore the discriminant = 16.

Hope it helps...
