Communitive: You can switch the order and still get the same answer

Assosiative: You can switch what numbers are in the parentheses and still get the same answer (if you're only adding) a+(b+c)=c+(a+b)

Distributive: (a*b)+(a*c)=a*(b+c)

Identity: You can add a number with 0 and get the same number you started with

y+x=x+y is the communitive property because, no matter which order the numbers are, you get the same answer
