Why do Mongilian Herders live in Tents ?

It is important than one area doesn't get too crowded, otherwise the land would be destroyed by an overload of livestock and tents since land can only support a certain number of people. The Mongolian people are also very considerate to the land that they use, and rarely let the grass die out.

They are quick and easy to set up and take up little space on a wagon or other modes of transportation. This is important because herders are constantly moving their livestock from place to place and cant stay in one area for too long.
