European Union is a collection of countries present in the European regions. All the member countries of the European Union are economically and politically connected and they are governed by the common law of the Union though they have separate government set up.
There are basically three forms of Governmental systems in the European Union. They are
1. Presidential system
2. Semi - presidential system
3. Parliamentary Republic
The member states of the European Union are mostly unitary states. It means, most of the competencies is in the hands of the central government at the center and only less power or authority is given to the local or regional governments.
