So, if you don’t have access to a calculator find the percent of a number is pretty simple. It looks like your teacher what’s you do the the cross multiply method so using this as an example you would take the percent of you’re trying to find (in this case 15) and put that above zero because all percents are out of 100 and are fractions
And you would set that against the number your percent is out of (here it is 7) and set that over x because you don’t know what 7 is 15% of yet
Then you wanna keep your 15/100 and multiply that by your x and set it equal to your 7
15/100 *x = 7
Then you wanna multiply both sides by 100 and divide by 15
This will leave you with x= 46.67
If you have access to a calculator you can just plug in
7/0.15 and get the same answer
