Answer:

slope is undefined

Explanation:

calculate the slope m using the slope formula

m =
(y_(2)-y_(1) )/(x_(2)-x_(1) )

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (- 2, 9 ) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (- 2, 5 )

m =
(5-9)/(-2-(-2)) =
(-4)/(-2+2) =
(-4)/(0)

since division by zero is undefined then the slope of the line is undefined

hey!

we know that slope = y2-y1/x2-x1

where y2= 5 , y1 = 9 , x2=-2,x1=-2

=> slope , m = 5-9/-2-(-2) = -4/0 = 0
