Look at the figure of lines & angles above in the attachment. If we place Angle 3 on Angle 7, they will exactly cover each other.

They are formed in the same way. They are the larger angle between the two angles formed by the parallel lines. So, They are congurent angles.

Now coming to their position, one of them is above other that means they are corresponding to each other. So, They are corresponding angles.
