As a FFA member I know that at all FFA related events you don't need to always were OD or official dress, but when it is requested it is very important to wear all the components, black pants, tie, white shirt, black closed toe shoes. because it makes your chapter look nice and if your in an OD related competition than you can loss points if your not dresses properly.
