There is 0.01 meters in 1 centimeter

(50cm) x (0.01m/1cm) = 0.5m

Now that we have it in meters we can count how many of (0.5m) and add up until we get to 4m.

He needs 8 books.

Answer:

Explained below

Explanation:

We know (hopefully) that 100 centimeters is equal to 1 meter.

The expression should essentially be 400/50.

400/50 = 8

Victor would need 8 books to make a tower with the height of 4 meters.

By the way 50 centimeters per book is a pretty hefty book, would be as thick as my hand pointing upwards.
