Mai rented a truck for one day. There was a base fee of $13.25, and there was an additional charge of 5 cents for each mile driven. The total cost, (in

dollars), for driving x miles is given by the following function
C(x) 0.05x + 13.25

Answer: $14.25

Explanation:

just input 20 miles into the equation and solve for the rental cost

c(x) = 0.05x + 13.25

c(20) = 0.05(20) + 13.25

c(20)= 1 + 13.25

c(20) = 14.25
