Make an observation - observing the phenomenon or problems,

Ask a question - form a question,

Form a hypothesis - making a possible explanation,

Make a experiment based on the hypothesis - design the investigation to test explanation,

Test the prediction

collecting investigation data,

Analyze the data and

Iterate - find the result or conclusion and required to repeat it with other possible explanation.
