If there are 15 flowers TOTAL and 3 pots, you divide 15 by three (think of having 15 pieces of candy and dividing them among 3 people) you would have 5 each so the answer is 5!
Another simple way is turning the problem around for example the problem here would be 15/3=? Remember, division backwards is always multiplication so turn this into ?x3=15 and figure out what times three is fifteen using a variable or just a question mark.

Divide 15 flowers by 3 pots to find the answer!

It will tell how many flowers can equally go in EACH POT

15 ÷ 3 = 5

The answer is A, .... 5 flowers can go in ONE POT
