Are the expressions 2(3x - 6) and 2(3x)x - 6 are equivalent​

Explanation:

So lets do the first expression first

2(3x-6)

6x-6

So the first one is 6x-6

Now the second expression

2(3x)x-6

As you can see here, there's an extra x in this problem compared to the last problem, but lets still work it out

6x*x-6

So they are different.

If the extra x wasn't there then it would've worked.
