Hey ! there

Answer:

  • Area of rectangle is 6x² - 2x

Explanation:

In this question we are given with a rectangle having length as 3x - 1 and width as 2x .

And we are asked to find the area of rectangle in terms of x .

For finding area of rectangle we need its Formula . So ,

\qquad \qquad \: \underline{\boxed{\frak{Area_((Rectangle)) = l * w }}}

Where ,

  • l is equal to Length of rectangle

  • w is equal to Width of rectangle

Solution : -

\dashrightarrow \qquad \:(3x - 1) * 2x

Now by using distributive property , multiplying 2x with 3x and -1 :

\dashrightarrow \qquad \:2x(3x) + 2x( - 1)

\dashrightarrow \qquad \: \red{\underline{\boxed{\frak{6x {}^(2) - 2x }}}} \quad \bigstar

  • Henceforth , area of rectangle is 6x² - 2x .

Note : We haven't write the units because in the question no units are given for dimensions.
